My friend Yeah Samake is running for President in Mali, West Africa. He is a man full of integrity and honor with positive & real ideas of helping his native country help themselves.
To raise funds for his campaign I gathered a committee together to put on (my 1st ever REAL) 5k Run for Mali!
Plenty of people participated (including Yeah's niece Kadi who is also a native Mali-an).
It was a real blast! All those who participated were just there to have FUN!!

There were prizes, medals, swagbags, chocolate, & t-shirts for everyone!

Our Finish line & Timing was provided by 26.2; a running store in American Fork.
Kristie's parents are Dr.'s who travel to Mali frequently and give aid and support to those living in Mali and to Yeah Samake.
The kids 100yd Dash was AWESOME! Asher got third place in his age division and Aaron got second in his!
