Another heart to add to our collection. The boys always have their eyes open!!
We had our 1st annual Midsummer's Night Talent Show in our backyard with the family!
To list a few of the talents:
Ammon put on a Pokemon play in two parts and awesome costumes,
Aaron did the Robot Dance to a compilation of music Daddy prepared,
all the boys and Kaleb showed their newly acquired karate skills,
Daddy sang,
Asher did an airplane,
Michael did a magic trick, and
Mamma showed off our family heart collage she made.
Asher is Daddy's little sidekick. He LOVES all the things his Daddy loves. They are sharing their love of waterhoses and gardening. I had to catch the love on camera!
Aaron is showing Genevieve how to play Wii and I caught Asher sweetly sneaking Genevieve an Otter Pop. She was extremely grateful!
Genevieve is Aaron's little sidekick! He ADORES her and has so much fun playing with her!
We gave Aaron this white Paul Frank monkey on his Baptism day to represent Repentance & staying clean and white. We gifted one to Kaleb too. Aaron named them: Holy Monkey.
Holy Monkey has all sorts of positions and moves. He is the most played with toted along animal yet!
Playing Badminton with cousins!
Asher found these tattoos and insisted he and Daddy wear 'em! Tough guys!!!
We love our Family Home Evening nights on the couch! (Every FHE we have everyone leave the living room and wait just outside the door. We then choose a theme, a song to go with the theme, and then as the MC calls each person's code name for the night (i.e. "Welcome to the Durtschi Family FHE!! Introducing Snake Eyes!!"), they come dancing in while everyone cheers for them and they do a dance or "special move" on the large living room table. This night was "Ninja Night". Everyone stayed in character for a while. ;p
