HARVEY'S 30!!!!! And he knew tons of peeps out here in UT, has loads of family here, plus he has a sister that can throw a rockin' party! So he flew out here and I threw him a party Charlie Chaplin style that he would never forget!
Everyone played their part by dressing Chaplin style! Harvey LOVES this picture of Michael and he loved the hilarity that Kaleb added to the party that night!
We had pie eating (Harvey snuck his hand behind one of the guy's heads while he was eating his pie and face planted him into his pie!), a movie set, and don't forget Harvey's favorite: chocolate chip cookies and milk.
Eric did a perfect job as Bartender that night! Our drink menu went a little something like this:
"For all you upstanding ladies and gents who abstain from that Devil's poison known
as alcohol, our fine establishment offers of full complement of delectable
sin-free libations. Quench your thirst the righteous way!
Harvey the Six-Foot Invisible Rabbit: White grape juice, sparkling water, mint garnish
Chaplin-Tini: Lavendar soda, cranberry and grape juices, blackberry garnish
The Kid: Pineapple juice and ginger ale
Moonshine: Apple cider
Tonic on the Rocks: Club soda with ice
After Midnight: Brewed cocoa, cream, garnish
Zambuca: Sprite with black licorice stick
The Commie: Cherry limeade with a maraschino cherry
Bathtub Gin: Root Beer"
Bathtub Gin, Harvey, and I go way back... it was a song we loved in High School by our favorite band, Phish. I had to include it since we were partying like it was 1920!
The best part was when Harvey ran through his tunnel of cheering and sparklers towards his cake and then Kaleb surprised him by popping out of the cake and silly string sprayed him!! It was a surprise to all the guests to so you could imagine the surprise and laughter!! So classic!!
Harvey, we had a blast with you! YOU made the party that much more fun! Loved the theme, the family, the friends, the atmosphere, the FUN, and we love YOU!
