Shakespearean Festival August 2010

We took a friends trip down to St. George to partake in some Shakespearean culture.
Since Genevieve was still nursing, we took her with us. We started off the trip with "Tarzan" at the Toucan Theater (St George's outdoor amphitheater). I don't have words as to how enjoyable that was sitting with my hubby and UH-mazing baby watching that tender and adventurous show. We absolutely loved it! Thanks for hooking us up with awesome tix Alexis!

We had all gone to St George this particular weekend because it was the Shakespeare Festival. Unfortunately, Eric and I weren't allowed into the Shakespeare show with everyone else because no babies were allowed. But he and I are always looking for time to spend together so we had a blast doing nothing much except for being with each other. We found a great piece of art for our living room and proudly hang it.

shakespeare-1This dear group of friends is SO much fun to hang out with! We "played" golf on the golf course in our back yard, turned up the music, played clue and werewolves and laughed 'til way early in the morning!
Our fun weekend was made even better
with a full medieval feast.

On our drive back, we caught Genevieve's FIRST laugh on iPhone recording! It was so precious. She just babbled away in the backseat and was laughing to herself on the drive. Eric commented on how amazing it was that we could record our baby's first laugh "nowadays" (like he's 80 yrs old or something- lol). For all the hard time I gave him on his hilarious choice of words, it really is something to stop and appreciate.
