Pokemon Creations June 2011

Our boys sure do love Pokemon: cards, movies, games... you name it! Why not make our own Pokemon Cards?! They were printed to size and Laminated to look just like the real deal!
Our cousins joined in on the fun!

First everyone had to draw what they wanted their Pokemon to look like.
Next, we added names, HP, Battling specifics, etc.
We had SO much fun with this and laughed and laughed at the different "Battling specifics" some of us came up with.
Daddy was the producer of all the background work, templates,
typing dictated descriptions, pictures and cards...He's the guy that made it HAPPEN!!

Ammon's Pokemon:

Aaron's Pokemon:

Kaleb's Pokemon: (our favorite part of Kaleb's is the back of his card.... "if all else fails use... Finger." (just a picture of a booger finger... had us in stitches!!)

June 2011 FUN AT HOME

Aaron and his new pet "Bite" - Daddy caught this especially for Aaron!

Cassandra, Aesha (Tia's twin), & Baby Genevieve (Aesha's twin!)

The newest invention... "We're PAH-NTS Man and we can't use our hands!!!!!!"

Genevieve being naughty climbing up on the table!! Her newest trick...!!

The babe has HAIR!! Her FIRST Pigtails...

Our family found hours of fun taking turns flying Asher's Helicopter. Even Genevieve got in on the fun by brandishing the sword at the helicopter that kept plopping her on the head.

Ammon found a new kitty to love- we named him Puzzle (after a few other name suggestions including "poo stain"). Ammon put out milk and food for him and he stayed around and loved being cuddled!

Michael is a CHAMPION at Monkey Bars! He goes over and over even 10 times!

Asher loves his new kite he bought with his chores money! We bring it to the park every time we go!

Genevieve loved being spun on this playground piece!

We could find Asher looking through our family picture books almost every day. This time he wanted Daddy to read it to him!

We have fun with the simplest things! Found this tire and rolled it down the huge hill in our backyard with the neighborhood kids. Exhilarating really...!!

Baby Girl loves her bath time.

It's always time to snuggle on the couch. :)

Michael's 4th Birthday - Pirates!! Sept 2010

I finally decided to just move Michael's birthday celebration day to
September instead of his actual birthday, January 3.
So many adults who have late Dec/early Jan birthdays have told me they had a grandparent "give" them their birthday date or some wished they had a reason for a change because they get overlooked during the holidays.

We never want Michael to feel overlooked!!
SOooooo, I changed the day we celebrate HIM to September 27.
Why September 27?
In Catholicism they have a day they celebrate each Saint.
Saint Michael is celebrated on Sept 27: Michaelmas!
So here we are, in September celebrating Michael and all that is HIM at age four:
PIRATE STYLE!!

Eric's sister Sarah, and one of the first family members Michael warmed up to (she is very special to him! love you sweet Auntie!), made an incredible Pirate costume and was the main event at Michael's party!
She had the kids, Walk the Plank, Dig for Buried Treasure, and gave prizes for Bravery!
All in her BEST scurvy Pirate voice of course!

Always fun: Freeze dance to Pirate songs (including Backyardigans "I Wanna Be a Pirate" and "Sponge Bob's Theme Song" sung by Patchy the Pirate)

The Food: don't forget the Gumball EYEballs!

The FUN: Digging for Buried treasure using their own maps! & Pin the eyepatch on the Skull & Crossbones

The Decoration:

WALK THE PLANK!

Michael's Private Pirate Hideout
ENTER IF YOU DARE!

A Piratey Cake!
Our favorite part was when after everyone finished the Happy Birthday song with "AARRrrrrr!!", Michael broke Pirate character and literally squealed with excitement and shouted "It's my BIRTHDAY!!!!"

Happy Birthday to our sweet boy Michael!!!!
You are SO MUCH FUN with all your costuming, imagination, creativity, hilarious phrase choices, and LOVE of life!
You make our family laugh and stretch our imaginations to the limits!

Hiking Zions May 2011

Our family LOVES the outdoors and loves hiking. ARCHES is amazing and you must visit it at least once in your life. These are incredible formations and we were all in *A W E*.

Utah Jazz vs Chicago Bulls 3/11

Eric and I got gifted two SWEeeeeeT tickets to see the Utah Jazz vs Chicago Bulls play! We were offered $200 for our seats on the way in but we decided to go with the night together at this awesome game vs the $. So glad we did! Within 5 minutes of sitting down the mascot tossed a mini basketball & Eric caught it. The basketball was redeemable for a weekend at a resort! Lucky us! Really close game - such a fun night! We love hanging out with each other!!!!

Camping at the BIG Campground

We were hoping to camp at Maple Canyon but when we got there all the campsites were taken. boo! So we went up the road to "The Big Campground"! Not as awesome as Maple Canyon but we made the best of it and had a ton of fun!

Of course, Asher found the faucet...lol- our little guy will find any sprinkler, hose, faucet withing a mile radius!

We played basketball (Horse) with a couple of other families. Some of them were pretty competitive but Daddy showed them who could play! And have FUN too!! We played all sorts of made up games together, Train, Hide and Seek, Dinosaur Museum, sling shot, basketball, kick the shoe, Dodge Ball, and had our own family talent show with Michael as the MC!

Yes, this is Genevieve not walking on her own still...!! She'll walk when she's good and ready she told us! For now, she'll just wants to hold our hands. :p

Daddy spent plenty of time with Asher and Ammon who really wanted to learn how to become masters with the sling shot.

Daddy challenged someone to eat a nasty burnt Starburst for $ and Ammon took him up on the challenge! We now know that Ammon CAN eat anything! Aaron wanted a challenge next so we challenged him to run the circle sidewalk in 45 seconds. He would have to sprint the whole way... he ran it in 35 seconds!! Then in 30 seconds!! He kept beating his record and no one else could touch his time! Aaron is a beast!! We challenged Genevieve to hang from the basketball hoop by herself and she DID for 10 whole seconds!

Utah 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards

Eric and I were invited as owners of Crio Bru as VIPs to the Utah 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards. We walked the red carpet with the likes of David Archueletta, Osmonds, Debbie Gibson, Jimmer, & all sorts of actors/actresses/musicians/ and who's who that began in UT.

I had to get my "dukes" ready to scrape Debbie Gibson off of my Eric! tee hee...
She fell in LOVE with him! (she was a fabulous person - felt like BFF from the beginning! She DID really like Eric though) ;p

We had a blast people watching, getting to know some amazing celebrities (we met alot of really fabulous people actually- just a few hilarious ones- tee hee), as well as being mistaken for the "Dancing with the Stars" couple by their Real Estate agent!

We had a full course catered dinner as well as rights to hob nob in the comfy VIP lounge with all sorts of peeps, treats, & goodies.

Crio Bru beans and brew plus our brochures were placed at each person's place setting. Great advertisement for us!

We talked so much we didn't really have time to eat. So we went to In-N-Out afterwards. mmmmmmm.... got a couple stares...
I mean who wouldn't stare at this handsome devil?!

There was a ton of interest in our company that night! We were so happy to be invited and share our product!
