Happy President's Day Weekend!! We spent a lovely long weekend in Colorado (and brought Karina, our fabulous niece along with us just for fun & to see her cousins!)
We spent most of the time hiking and exploring the outdoors and swimming! This was one of the places we hiked at called Garden of the Gods. It is beautiful!
On one of our hikes the boys found this heart naturally carved into the rock. For Valentine's of 2010 I made a collage of all the hearts we and our boys have found while out in nature (mainly). Here it is.
Ever since I made that for our home, the boys are always on the look out for more hearts to add to or to make another collage out of! They are dedicated! This one was so beautiful, we took a family picture in front of it!
We know how to have all sorts of fun in a hotel room without EVER turning on the TV!
As a fun and different treat and since it was raining & gloomy outside, we took everyone to Chucky Cheese. Of course that was a ton of fun to play on all the games!
The BEST treat though was getting to see our friends Greg & Emily Winslow. Our kids LOVED each other! They had a blast swimming and playing!
Eric suggested we all go to this Mediterranean restaurant where you sit on the floor and belly dancers and sword eaters come around to entertain. The atmosphere transported you right to Morocco- the ceilings were even low and covered with decorated cloth, the candles and lighting was perfect. The food was undescribable- the best food ever! My new favorite restaurant in Denver! I had rabbit for my first time (my favorite dish of the night!). Thank you babe for the unforgettable experience!
