Out and about 4/11

I introduced our family to the most fun toy store in Utah: Blickenstaff! The boys work so hard and diligent at chores and have been interested in our teaching them how to pay tithing and save their money in hopes of making it to this store and searching for just the right thing! This store has mechanical horse, wooden horse, bikes to ride on, a huge tree in the middle of the store, toys to play with, the biggest gumball machine you ever saw... the list goes on and on! This store opens up the creative play part of all of our brains!

We went with our friends, the Osmond family, to Thanksgiving Point Gardens. It is a 3.5 mile walking loop but no one really feels the distance because of how beautiful and creatively gorgeous it is! There are "ruins", ducks, Coi fish, a rose garden, a carousel made out of greenery, a secret garden, rose garden, huge water fall where we found an owls nest with baby owls, tuplips galore, a fountain that rises high up along stairs, streams, and last but not least, a gigantic hill at the end the kids could all roll down!! We tossed a football in one of the grassy green areas, had snacks while the younger ones ran around and played tag. Our family LOVEs this garden- especially spending it with friends (& cousin Kaleb)!
